2. Purpose of the data processing:

The data collected is limited to name, email and telephone address, TIN, address, postcode, town, district and country, and is used for the purposes set out in this Policy and may be obtained through:

Managing your registration as a user:

Occent shall not register any users and shall not create or provide access to any reserved area(s), and each order record and respective data collected will be processed with a unique reference to the respective order.

Management and processing of your order:

Occent will process your data for the processing of each order and its shipment, as well as for the management of billing and payment, regardless of the payment method used.

3. Marketing actions and consent:

Occent may process your data for marketing purposes in order to send you information about its products. Any action will only be done with your full consent, namely when you create your user account or place any order. By providing your consent you will receive marketing communications via email and/or SMS, as well as advertising actions and marketing campaigns on social networks, and your data may be shared with third parties that manage Occent's social networks.

Occent warrants that it regulates all relationships with all its partners and providers, so that they ensure the necessary technical and organisational conditions are appropriate and legally required.

At any time this consent can be revoked through the Customer Service or through links and banners available in each communication.

4. Customer service management:

Occent will process the data necessary to manage or resolve any issue related to your user account or order.

Sharing of personal data with Third Parties:

Your personal data may be shared by Occent, as well as with third party service providers. Examples are financial institutions, fraud detection and prevention entities, as well as technology, marketing, logistics, transport, delivery and advertising service providers.

The personal data collected may be shared exclusively for hosting and backup purposes on servers located in Portugal, with Occent ensuring that it regulates its relations with all its partners and service providers so that they ensure the necessary technical and organisational conditions that are appropriate and legally required.

In general, personal data collected on the Occent website is not transferred to third parties unless in compliance with a legal requirements.

In the event of data being transmitted to third parties, Occent shall remain jointly liable with the third party for the processing of the personal data in a fair, lawful and transparent manner. The subcontractor may only process personal data in accordance with the instructions defined by Occent and always in strict compliance with the law and the purposes entrusted to it under the contract concluded.

The transmission of personal data to subcontractors shall only be carried out within the framework of contractually established relationships with Occent and only where there is a justifiable basis for doing so.

In order to ensure confidentiality and data security, Occent shall take all steps required by law to ensure that the outsourcer provides sufficient guarantees for the protection of the personal data, that it is a reputable entity and that it has sufficient technical and organisational security measures in place to protect the personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access and against all other unlawful forms of processing, as agreed, in particular, by formal agreement between Occent and the outsourcing entity, whereby the latter undertakes to act only on the instructions of the former with respect to the processing of personal data.

Occent's subcontractors shall only process the personal data for the purposes defined and agreed between the parties and shall ensure that the retention of the data, where necessary and applicable, complies with the time limits established by law and/or contractually.

Personal data subjects shall be informed at the time of collection of their data about its possible sharing with subcontractors of Occent, where possible with identification of the organisation and its contact details, as well as the purpose of said sharing.

In the event that the data is transferred to a subcontractor of Occent that is in a third country not belonging to the European Union, such subcontractor shall maintain a level of data protection equivalent to the protection afforded by the legislation in force in the European area, in particular that provided for in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

In the context of international data transfers, (at least) one of the following procedures should be followed:

The legislation for cross-border data transfers will not apply to operations that are occasional and necessary for the performance of an agreement or in the context of litigation (judicial, administrative, regulatory or similar proceedings).
